I was sooo pleased to learn that they remove the bees safely to save them (since we need them to pollinating). They also perform the repair and warranty- which is hard to find. However, what brought the most satisfaction was that they helped me to get my home- they went above and beyond. The REO home I was purchasing required the bees to be removed before closing escrow but the bank REO seller didn't want to pay until after (normal for this economy) escrow went through. I am so thankful and appreciative to Bee Catchers, they worked with the bank REO seller so I could close escrow. He made one pass and was attacked by bees and stung three times. We've been in this house for about a year and never had a problem with bees before. We've planted, pruned, and enjoyed relaxing in the backyard with no issues. We called Bee Catchers on Saturday morning after finding them on Angie's List and made an appointment for Monday between 9 and 9:30 a.m. Bee Catchers make every effort to take care of us that Saturday but our schedule didn't work out. The family, including our dog stayed out of the yard for the remainder of the weekend. Steve from Bee Catchers arrived about 9:20. He took a look at the swarm and told us they were yellow jackets. He destroyed the hive, sprayed the area, and told us to stay out of the yard for about four hours. The process took about 45 minutes. Steve was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant. Bees were building a hive under an eave on the roof. I called them Saturday morning, and even though they were booked solid, office mgr said she would try. She called back and said her husband would be by later in the afternoon -- a SATURDAY (I wonder how many other places are not open on weekends) -- like I can tell that to the bees! He came, crawled up on the roof, took care of things and that was that! This guy knew what he was doing and how to do it. He told me what to look for in a couple of days to make sure bees were gone. After over a month with Orkin coming out and trying to deal with the problem and leaving an unsightly yellow foam on our roof line and another bee swarm had started, we resorted Trang Nguyen, Glendale I had a bee colony in the wall of my house. I had tried to get rid of it without killing the bees and failed. The colony was at least two years old -- very large. The bees had become aggressive, attacking individuals and animals. Bee Catchers had to remove the hive and clean out the place it had been. They also blocked the hole where the bees had entered the house. The service was excellent and they removed the bees and about 90 pounds of honey comb from the wall. Bee Catchers came on time and well prepared. They were clean, highly professional and clearly explained what they would have to do. First they found where the nest was located as I had thought it was in the attic, but they identified it was in the wall. They neatly cut holes in the wall to remove the nest and the bees. from the woman who took my call, she suggested we wait to see if it was
a case of bees "just resting". She could have sent someone out at my cost, and I would've paid it.
Instead, she said to wait a couple days. Her honest appraisal saved me money. I have to say, business, sadly,
